A brace fits in every mouth
For more than 10 years I have been treating children and adults with braces and splints in the center of Sprockhövel with my competent, friendly team.
Through regular professional training, we are always up to date with this to our patients
to pass on.
Depending on the indication, our patients have access to the most modern methods of conventional and innovative removable and fixed devices.
Which type of treatment is suitable for straightening your teeth or those of your child can only be determined after a thorough examination. For this we need an impression of the upper and lower jaw, two X-rays (OPG and FRS) and photos of the teeth and face. If needed, an X-ray of the hand is also taken. In a detailed planning discussion, we will then explain to you which type of treatment and braces are recommended or what alternatives there are. The costs for the initial consultation for children and adults are usually covered by health insurance. You don't need a transfer either. We explain the costs and how they can be covered by statutory or private health insurance, supplementary insurance or assistance. We are happy to take the time to answer your questions!

Removable devices
Removable braces have the advantage that there is no difficulty in brushing your teeth. The risk of tooth decay and damage from overuse is low.
Of course, removable braces are only effective if they are worn. Good cooperation is therefore important. Since not all tooth movements are possible with removable braces, fixed braces are often used afterwards.
Fixed apparatus
In general, fixed appliances in the permanent dentition are used to correct pronounced misalignments.
They consist of bands (steel metal rings), brackets (small metal, ceramic or plastic plates), wire arches, auxiliary parts and additional treatment and anchoring elements.
snoring splints
Snoring devices can help you snore less or not at all at night. These splints consist of two interconnected plastic splints that keep the lower jaw forward and thus the airways free.
The costs may be reimbursed by your health insurance company if you receive a corresponding prescription from a pneumologist or ear, nose and throat doctor.
aligners
The transparent splints (aligners) can be used to correct various misaligned teeth in adolescence and adulthood.
These transparent, removable splints are individually manufactured in the laboratory for each patient and are almost invisible on the teeth.
